Project Description
Under a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with the Illinois National Guard, the USPFO-IL provided a scope to provide alterations and addition to Security Forces Squadron Facility, Building P-25, located at the 183rd FW, Springfield, IL.
The project consists of the repair and reconfiguration of the existing security forces and fire department building P-25 and the construction of a new building addition. The Security Forces facility work includes selective demolition, alteration and renovation of selected 1st and 2nd floor existing spaces (15,594 sf), and a two-story 83’x60’ building addition (1,200 sf). The existing building’s electrical and mechanical system/equipment was replaced with a new system, able to serve the entire new building.
