96-Person Dormitory

Project Description

This project consists of constructing a three-story, 96 room dormitory with reinforced concrete foundation, walls and floors, on a steel frame. The exterior finish will be split faced concrete masonry unit (CMU) block and metal roof. The project includes all utilities, pavements, site improvements, landscaping and all required facility support. Also involved was demolition, earthwork, site utilities, storm drainage system, detention/retention ponds, pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, dumpster pad and enclosure, parking lot(s) for 68 parking spaces, striping and signage. The project earned us an award for sustained excellence in safety for 2012-2013. This project has received a LEED Silver rating from the United States Green Building Council.
