Entrance from Loading Dock to Freight Elevator Lobby

Project Description

The scope of work for this contract included providing a new vestibule entrance between the loading docks and freight elevators within the lower level of the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building. Among the requirements were to provide openings in the structural walls and cutting so as to modify portions of the horizontal structure I-beams. The vestibule required recessed lighting fixtures controlled by motion detectors. The inner and outer doors within the vestibule area were controlled by independent contractor installed card key readers.
